The 10-foot granite island is a perfect place for entertaining. Our gourmet kitchen is a Chef’s delight and features nearly two of every modern appliance, including 2 convection ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers and 2 sinks. Other convenient appliances include an instant hot water spigot, chef’s knives, wine refrigerator, Cuisinart food processor, Calphalon pots and pans, over 40 spices, griddle, Belgian waffle maker, Crock-Pot slow cooker, 4 sets of dishes, wine glasses, Champagne glasses, margarita glasses, 10-cup coffee maker and much more. The Lodge sources its water from a natural spring well on the property and the home has a whole-house water filtration system, which means bottled water is not necessary.

Bedrooms
The master bedroom features a king size “Sleep Number” bed, which allows you to determine your own firmness so you can sleep comfortably and wake up rested and refreshed. It has its own fireplace, a covered porch and magnificent view of the water.
The upstairs gold bedroom is also on the waterside and includes a king sleep number bed and covered porch.
The second floor blue bedroom has a beautiful wooden carved bed frame with a queen bed and memory foam topper for extra comfort. Relax and enjoy the view from the window seat that overlooks the impressive gardens and horse pasture across the street.
The library serves as a fourth bedroom with its own television and French doors that close for privacy. It has king Comfort Sleeper® by American Leather, the most comfortable sleeper sofa in the world. The Comfort Sleeper® has solid platforms that provide even support with no bars, no springs, and no sagging along with a 5″ gel/memory foam mattress to deliver unparalleled comfort.
Bathrooms
The Lodge has hot water on demand, which means you never have to wait for hot water at any faucet. Heated stone and tile floors keep your feet warm and comfortable, especially at night. Relax and let the stress go in our extra large Jacuzzi soaking tub. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryers, lighted makeup mirrors, hair spray, hand & body lotion, deodorant, and mousse in each bathroom.

The Lodge has 5G WiFi throughout the home, five televisions, cable service, DVD players, 100+ DVD movies, and plenty of outdoor/indoor games. Relax and soak away your stress in our extra large hot tub, under a secluded covered porch.
Outdoors
The large outdoor back patio includes comfy Adirondack chairs, a teak dining table & chairs, and wooden chaise lounges with cushions and umbrellas for shade in summer. You’ll also have use of a Weber Genesis propane gas grill. Create lasting memories in front of the outdoor fire pit, perfect for make s’mores and star gazing away from the city lights. Relax and enjoy the view from our 700 feet of bluff along the waterfront. Take a short hike down an adventure trail to your own private beach.
Things to do
The Soaring Eagle Lodge, Whidbey Island and the surrounding area offer a multitude of recreational activities. Watch our resident bald eagles come and go from the nest right on the property. They raise chicks in spring and summer and from the great room you have a clear view of the eagle’s nest. Nesting season is from April to August and our eagle pair has raised 12 chicks since 2007. The area around Soaring Eagle Lodge has kayaking, hiking, whale watching, cinema, theater, shopping, farmer’s markets and much more.
